My parents and I just have returned from a 48-hour trip to California. We went to UCSF Medical Center for me to see Dr. William Marks and Dr. Philip Starr. We left for California on Tuesday night and returned today at around the same time. Continue reading ‘DBS Surgery’ »

I’m finally leaving for California to see a doctor at UCSF Medical Center Neurology Department. Continue reading ‘Leaving for California’ »

‘m glad to hear that the feds got involved in this case; otherwise, the snipers might not get their just punishments. I mean, if they go through long trials, it would be such a waste of taxpayer’ money, and who knows, they might get lighter punishments. Besides, an example has to be set for future attackers and/or terrorists. Continue reading ‘Sniper shootings, part 4’ »

I have forwarded the letter from Medicaid along with the approval request forms to the patient representative of UWMC Neurology Department about 2 weeks ago, and I also had my social worker contact the patient representative. Last Monday, she contacted and let me know that she will have the doctor submit the request. However, he was going to return this pass Wednesday from his leave. And just this morning, I had my social worker call her and leave a message about it.

Even if the request was submitted on this pass Wednesday or Thursday, I don’t think I will find out the result until next month or so. This doctor should have taken care of all this once I asked him to refer to the doctor in California. :( I just hope the doctor in California is willing to postpone the payment until Medicaid approves it.

I recommend this movie to all horror fans! I give 8 out of 10! Anyway, the movie itself is’t too scary, but the concept is horrifying. And I heard that the original version came from Japan and that i’s a hit over there right now.

Well, it makes sense. The concepts of a “virgin spirit,” her long hair, her white gown, a well, a television set, and the mother killing her daughter, because she could’t stand watching her being abused by her husband, seem like most of the Asian cultural concepts of a spirit with vengeance in mind.

I was coming out of an apartment or a restaurant with two of my friends SH and CC (their initials). SH was helping me from behind to walk with her arms wrapped around me. But the thing it, sh’s much smaller than I am, so ther’s no way she can do that in reality. CC was walking beside us, and I said to her, “Before you go, let me use your cell.” To call my mother for a ride, that is. Continue reading ‘Friends’ »

Do’t you think they were very stupid to be caught like that? I mean, if I were him, I would have changed my vehicle a long time ago. And I would’t be sleeping in a rest stop, either. I would be in the woods or something away from the eyes of the public. Continue reading ‘Sniper shootings, part 3’ »

Ok, ‘m changing my opinion. Now I believe i’s not an act of terrorism. If it was, the sniper would’t have contacted the authorities. However, it might be so because of the name or nickname “Muhammad” and the status of the citizenship. Continue reading ‘Sniper shootings, part 2’ »

I have been following the news for the sniper shootings on and off and somewhat reluctantly simply because I hate to think there is a human being out there capable of killing others with no mercy and reasons–randomly. Wha’s more surprising is that this sniper is willing to kill children if his/her demands are not met. This guy has no respect for life at all. Continue reading ‘Sniper shootings’ »

It seems that ‘m longing more for my high school years as I get older. I mean, life was’t so complicated as it is now, and I could depend on others without feeling useless or dependent. I also did’t have to worry about the realities of this world, though I tried to take my life once in my sophomore year, but that was just a part of the growing pain. Now I have to do everything myself. Continue reading ‘High school years’ »
