I received a letter from Medicaid yesterday stating that they have denied the out-of-the-state referral request submitted by Dr. Ali Samii at UW Medical Center. Continue reading ‘Referral request denied’ »

A cousin from my father’s side came to visit us yesterday morning, and he’s going to stay with us for 2 more days. He’s visiting us just before he has to meet some people for business in LA. Technically, he’s on a business trip. Anyway, he’s 5 years older than I am — same age as my brother. I guess the old saying “blood is thicker than water” is true, because we clicked instantly even though we haven’t seen each other for nearly years. It’s like having my brother here, because my cousin kind of talks and acts like him! What a nuisance! / /
Well, he’s the first visitor from Korea since we moved here to Washington State. For the record, his name is Kang Shin-jung.
I have noticed that I get some visitors through search engines, so I looked up the referrals. The following search keywords are from Google, Yahoo, and AOL search engines ordered by most recent searches: Continue reading ‘Search keywords’ »
This is very weird. It was’t a DNS propagation problem but rather a problem with Internet Explorer. I think it decided to use the cached version of the site even after I deleted all the temporary files. Oh, wait a minute, if that was the case, I should’t have been able to see the index file I uploaded on that previous hos’s server. For some reason, IE had my domain point to that server. Tha’s impossible, though.
Weird . . .
Well, my site is working fine now.
My main site is not currently functional, because the DNS propagation has’t finished as it seems. It was working fine this morning, but suddenly, it started to point to my previous host. It should be okay by tomorrow. But oddly, this subdomain is functional as you can see. Strange, eh?
On the side note, I received a partial refund of $5 from webguyz. I’s obviously their policy not to grant refunds, though. And because I made some other mistake, they had to take off $4, which ‘m sure covers the refund penalty also.
I have changed my web hosting provider to hostradius.com as of this morning. This one is much cheaper in terms of the number of the things I get at the same price–$1 per month for 20MB of space and 1GB of bandwidth. They offer unlimited number of FTP accounts, POP accounts MySQL databases, and subdomains. They also offer multi-hosting where you can have multiple domains share the same server but with divided space and bandwidth. Continue reading ‘Web host changed’ »
I just returned home from watching Ghost Ship, and ‘m giving this movie 4 stars out of 5. I’s both spiritual and horrifying. It also portrays the concept of evil as well as human greed very well. It shows how far human greed can take people away from humanity.
This movie is worth your money and time!
Note however that killing scenes are very grotesque.
The thing with Americ’s judicial system is that whether that person is guilty without a doubt or not, it is their constitutional right to be given a reasonable doubt, which leads to lengthy trials paid by the taxpayers. This should be amended, in my opinion, so that there would be no unnecessary trials if the charged individual does not refute the charges and there are sufficient evidences to convict. I personally think that i’s all about publicity stunt, or sh’s just not psychologically sound. I mean, I do’t think sh’s dumb enough to just walk out and pass the security with those items in one bag wrapped only with paper. Like someone said, I think sh’s just playing a role of a character in an upcoming movie she wants to be in. Continue reading ‘Winona Ryder’ »
Here I am trying to get an appointment with a doctor for my father, because he needs a prescription for his high blood pressure and because he does’t have a doctor, and he gets ready to go fishing. / / ‘m not complaining about going fishing, but if h’s not home, I ca’t get the appointment. Why? Because they are accepting new patients at the end of each month, but since he needs a prescription, I have been calling them twice a day for the last 4 days to see if ther’s any cancellation for him to fill in.
