Yes, I’m back from San Francisco, California, after receiving my second Deep Brain Stimulation surgery about 4 hours ago. Everything went smoothly except the contraption that holds my head became loose while the metal thing was still in my brain. I had a dream while I was taking a beauty nap a few hours ago. In it, I was one of the Marines in Iraq, and I was helping out a male teenager with something. We were in front of a burned building, and I think I was fixing a water pump (the one you have to pump by hand) while he was trying to scavenge whatever he could from the building.

While I was reading this and its included link, I almost cried out aloud. :cry: I knew people can be very cruel, but I did’t know they can be cruel to that extent. :evil: Such cruelty to animals should be considered a criminal act and should be punished with the same degree as cruelty to other human beings. Lives are lives whether they belong to animals or humans…

Food and Drug Administration has finally approved Deep Brain Stimulation and the Activa Therapy System for Dystonia on April 16, 2003. This would mean that Dystonia patients will have easier time getting it approved by their insurances. :D
