Yeah, my fifth uncle (mother’s side; father of my cousin who recently got married) from Korea will be staying with us for about 4 days. He has a business to take care of in Bellevue, so my father will be driving him all the way there twice, one-way only — about an hour drive; two or more if you count driving back. He should just catch a taxi or something. I’m complaining mainly because my mother has to mind the store while they are out, which means I’m gonna be home alone for several hours. :( At least he’s not asking to be driven back.

I wish I had a girlfriend especially at a time like this, then we could have the place all to ourselves alone. Heh. :D Continue reading ‘Fiifth uncle’ »

I was just informed that the tuition for residents and non-residents differ greatly, so it looks like I’ll have to wait at least a year to enroll into any school after moving to Portland, Oregon. Oh, well. :| I guess I can prepare for GMAT meanwhile. This freaking test costs $225! 8-O

Are you able to access Classmates.com??? If not, are you using Comcast? For some reason, I haven’t been able to access it for several months now; yet, I keep receiving e-mails from them telling me how many of new classmates have joined. I have a suspicion that Comcast may be blocking it for whatever reasons.

Call me stupid, but I had no idea that the GMAT was reuired to be eligible for an admission into the MBA Program. Ugh!!! o_O You also need 2 years of work experience which can be waived by a minimum GPA average of 2.75. :dizzy: Continue reading ‘MBA Program’ »

We are planning to sell our current business by the end of next month and move to Portland, Oregon, in late May when our lease contract expires. I’m planning to go back to school and retake some of the courses since I have been out of it all for nearly 2 years, and my parents will try to open the same type of business there.

That’s all. :) Continue reading ‘Short-term plans’ »

I’m feeling quite moody tonight listening to “No Ordinary Love” by Sade. I think I will bury my sorrows in alcohol — Miller Genuine Draft, my favorite — for tonight. :(

I hope these missions of NASA will be successful, for it is the greatest achievement of mankind to date in scientific exploration of another planet. Continue reading ‘Rover Spirit’ »

According to the Dateline NBC report “Children for Sale,” girls as young as kindergarten age are forced to work as prostitutes in Cambodia, among many other Asian countries such as Bangkok, etc. These children are often forced, sometimes kidnapped, into prostitution, and they are sold and bought like slaves often by their own parents because of poverty. The majority of their “customers” are old American men. It is also the American “organizations” that are working with their governments to free such children; however, even the authorities of such countries can be bribed by the pimps, making raids and/or arrests difficult.

Such horrendous crimes are taking place in countries of history…

I had a couple of dreams last night, but both of them are way too long and complex for me to write down, so let’s just put it this way: I dreamed of aliens and an apocalypse like in a SCI-FI movie. I believe it’s Remeron that’s stirring up these dreams.

The dosage for Remeron will be increased again to 45mg from 30mg starting tonight, because I have been depressed for the last 3 days straight, and my mood swings are back in full motion. I’m a bit better today, though.

That’s all. :|
