As of 6PM today, our lease contract at the local shopping mall ends, so we are closing our business down until we relocate to Portland, Oregon, in late May. In my opinion, however, we should have exended the contract at least for two more months. It’s not like we have huge investments or savings somewhere anyway.

Until today, I didn’t know the difference between VCD and DVD. There also are a few other formats. I looked it up, because a swapper on SwapSwop.com complained that I sent him a VCD (Ring 2), which I got via Swappingtons.com a few months ago. He gave me a rating of 4 out of 5. Oh, well. :|

For the claim I filed, I just received a check of $13.86 from the Attorney General for the State of Washington. I’m gonna get myself a DVD with that money… heh. :D

This is pretty ironic and funny at the same time…

Not being able to go above the 3.6v mark makes me irritable and angry, because my life will be pretty much over if these implants don’t improve my condition more. I would rather take my life than to live with this condition. I sometimes wish I was mentally-challenged as well, because then, I would be satisfied with pretty much anything that’s given to me in this life.

I definitely feel damned… I must have been a serial killer or something in my previous life. :( Yes, I believe in karma and in reincarnation even though I’m a Catholic.

I had an appointment with my neurologist today, and we attempted to go above the 3.6v mark for the implant on the right side of my chest plate with the approval of my neurosurgeon, but the side-effects (contracting of the tongue and nausea) were just too intolerable; instead, we ended up in decreasing the pulse width back down to 400 something. For the other side, we increased the amplitude to 3.5 from 3.2. Continue reading ‘Settings change’ »

I haven’t been particularly good at making friends, and I think it will be more difficult to do so at my age. I mean, the majority of people my age are either married with kids or are too busy with their carrers. It would be even more difficult for me, because I’m worse at befriending with guys. In my opinion, guys have to get “physical” to be friends whereas females make friends on the emotional level; i.e., guys play/watch sports together, go out for a beer, etc., but females make friends with whom they can share gossips with and other “emotional” stuffs. Right? Continue reading ‘Awkward age’ »

I was hesitating on seeing “50 First Dates” simply because Adam Sandler is in it, but it turned out to be pretty funny and sweetly romantic. Sandler’s crude humor gets really toned down from second half of the movie, and then Barrymore’s “sweet humor” kicks in where the plot, which is quite fresh in my opinion, starts to develope. However, this movie isn’t what you would want to see for more than once.

Overall, this movie deserves a B. :) It could have been better if the whole homosexuality thing was taken off the script. It’s bad tastes to mix it with the main sweet plot. :?

Wow, I absolutely love the contemporary dance that Julia Stiles (Sara) does at the end of this movie… :)
