We will be leaving for San Francisco, California, tomorrow morning at around 6 for the follow-up, and we will return in the evening of April 1. We are gonna drive down there which would take about 12 hours, one-way. So, anyway, I will be on a hiatus at least until then.

I might be away for a longer period since I haven’t been feeling like blogging… it feels like such a chore recently. But no, I won’t stop blogging for good. I just need a break, I guess, and a life for sure. :(

Unlike what some of its bad reviews say, “Taking Lives” is a well-balanced movie with just right amount of suspense, thrill, action, eroticism, and dark humor. I was actually surprised at the complexity of its plot — especially of its ending. And the sex scene in which Angelina Jolie gets semi-nude is a definite bonus for her fans. However, it doesn’t go deep enough into the mind of its serial killer which, in my opinion, would have enhanced the plot.

I will give it a B+. :)

I don’t like to go to cinemas with my father, let alone take him to one. A few months ago while my brother was here, we took him to see “Bad Boys II,” which was purely action from the beginning to the end, but he complained afterwards. Even when my mothter took him see “The Last Samurai,” he complained that it was boring. I was told that he felt asleep in the middle of it. Yet, it was nominated for an Oscar. You know why I didn’t go??? Because I didn’t wanna hear him complaining… Continue reading ‘Father & Cinemas’ »

“Traffic in Bridgeport, Connecticut, dragged to a near-halt Friday morning, hours after an oil tanker crashed and burst into a ball of fire on Interstate 95, causing extensive damage to the roadway and forcing officials to close the interstate in both directions.” — [[link removed]]

Wow, I wonder how hot it was to be nearby the accident. I read that the road even melted by the heat. 8-O

My father came to me asking for help again with the same issue. This is the third time for Christ’s sake! I’m just so appalled…

One of my paternal uncles, whom I haven’t seen in about 20 years, should be coming sometime next week. He’s the father of the cousin who were here a few days ago. He will be coming along with us to my follow-up. Continue reading ‘Paternal uncle’ »

Stupid idiot…

We just returned from an outing. We left for Beaverton, Oregon, at 8 in the morning (got up at 7) to look at the house. I couldn’t get inside, though, because it’s not wheelchair-accessible. There are 3 steps, about 6 inches each, so we need to put a ramp when we actually move in. Continue reading ‘An outing’ »

I just finished watching “About a Boy,” and I can very much associate my life to Will’s (Hugh Grant). I mean, I do nothing; I have been spending most of my days in front of the computer or television for almost 2 years now. At least he’s rich with a trust fund. Continue reading ‘About a Boy’ »
