I have been thinking about life today, and I have come up with the following six phases of life…

  1. From age 0 to 10 or so, your parents and grandparents are the most important people in your life.
  2. From age 11 to 20 or so, your friends are the most important people in your life.
  3. From age 21, or the day you move out and/or get married, to 30 or so, your significant other becomes the most important person in your life.
  4. From age 31, or the day your first child is born, to 50 or so, your children become the most important people in your life.
  5. From age 51 to 61 or so, your grandchildren become the most important person in your life.
  6. From age 61, or when your grandchildren become teenagers, you become the most important person in your life.

I think 2 years is my limit. It’s been almost 2 years since I graduated from University of Hawaii, which I dearly miss, and my life has become utterly dull. It’s worsened lately — nothing to joy or even complain about. I don’t even feel like blogging, either — obviously.

So I will be blogging on and off. I will only blog things of the essence.

Comcast advertises its residential broadband speed to be 3MB bps (downstream) and 256Kbps (upstream), but the upgrade seems to be selective even after 6 months since their initial upgrade. Yeah, I’m not getting that speed, though I’m paying $42+ as someone who is getting it. Not fair. :(

I’m planning to use Verizon DSL once we move to Oregon anyway. Besides, there are rumors about a speed upgrade by Verizon. Continue reading ‘Comcast speed upgrade’ »

We have returned from the trip about half an hour ago safely. It took a little longer than I expected because of two reasons. First, we had a car trouble while in California, probably due tp lack of maintenance by my father. My mother and I had to wait almost 5 hours in the hospital lobby while it was being repaired. Second, on the way home, my parents decided to take the longer route for a sight-seeing purpose. Needless to say, I was pissed about both of them. :( Continue reading ‘I’m back with hope’ »
