Due to various reasons, I have decided not to go back to school. I don’t want to struggle through it — especially with inefficient services from PSU — all over again just to obtain a piece of paper. Even if I do get another degree, then what? I mean, even with my current degree, I don’t have any ideas of what I can do with it. So, I have also decided to get brave and look for a job from next year with some help from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Meanwhile, I can only pray for a miracle.

I received a letter today from the adviser of School of Business Administration at PSU stating that I got accepted. Most of my undergraduate credits from University of Hawaii were transferred over, so I only have to take a few courses to get a second degree in Human Resource Management. :D

I don’t know about its original. but “The Manchurian Candidate” is the best movie of its type I have seen this year. Needless to say, it has an excellent plot as well as a little bit of science fiction and lots of suspense — and Denzel Washington is great as always.

I will give it an A! :)

I will give it an A-. :)

I had my first appointment with Dr. Matthew Brodsky at OHSU today, and with a few adjustments of my implants, my speech has significantly improved. I may be a little more relaxed as well. Also, I’m gonna try out a new drug (Skelaxin) I haven’t tried yet which supposedly reduce the muscle contractions.

The pulse width setting of 300~400 was too high, I think which now is 210 and an amplitude of 3.0 on both sides. Continue reading ‘First appointment’ »
