Don’t forget to set your clocks an hour early today. :)

Saw

The movie “Saw” is as sick as “Se7en” — almost. There aren’t much gruesome scenes and suspense, but its ending is twisted enough to surprise you.

I will give it a B. :)

If you are looking for an air purifier, check out Ionic Pro — especially if you have small children and/or a respiratory condition — which is very similiar to Ionic Breeze by Sharper Image with a lower price tag. I have just got one myself mainly because of dusts my computer system attracts and household odors, and it definitely works… the air in my room is much more fresh! And it doesn’t use any filters! :)

Don’t buy any vehicles from Robert Larson Automotive Group in Tacoma, Washington — especially through a guy named Chang Kim, because he doesn’t know shit, though he pretends to be Mr. Know-it-all. It’s been over 2 months since we purchased my van, but he still hasn’t sent us its permanent license plates. The temporary one, which he sent a month after the purchase, expires this Sunday! :x

He’s way too slimy for my taste. o_O Continue reading ‘Robert Larson Automotive Group’ »

First of all, “The Grudge” is NOT a remake of the Japanese film “Ju-On: The Grudgebut is actually based on it. Second of all, in my opinion, this one has much more scare factors compared to the American version of “The Ring” in terms of sound and other effects. And lastly, its story is well connected to the Japanese original film was changed very nicely to include foreigners without ruining either of them.

I will give it an A! :)

The movie “Ladder 49″ is about our brave firefighters who risk their lives everyday to save others. This movie depicts their lives and loved ones pretty well in my opinion, and it’s also pretty heart-warming.

I will give it a B. :)

I had an appointment with my neurologist today. Instead of following the suggestion of Dr. Marks at UCSF which is to decrease the frequency to 60, he increased it to 170 something. No changes yet; only time will tell. I will be going back in about 3 months. Continue reading ‘Settings change’ »

I went to bed drunk yesterevening at around 8, and I awoke about 4 hours later all sobered up. I was trying to fall asleep for hours, but I was too awake. When I finally dozed off laying on my left side, I must have somehow blocked the blood circulation to the brain, because the world around me was spinning like crazy. It was probably triggered by the alcohol in my blood, but when I managed to “get out of it,” my left shoulder/neck did feel kind of numb and felt like blood was rushing through it. I dreamed that I was falling from a high-rise building. I seemed to have fought with someone, and I was trying to catch something — a key of some sort — that person threw afar. I was stopped at the midway by an “edge” of the building, but then I looked down where I saw a swimming pool and thought, “There’s only 20% chance that I would fall into the pool.” I lost my balance from looking down and fell. I don’t know what happened next, though, but I did feel a sudden dizziness.

Well, anyway, Koreans say it’s a sign that you will grow taller if you dream about falling… but I think I’m too old for that. o_O
