I stood in line at Costco for over 4 hours today to get a damn flu shot. They won’t have enough vaccines probably until early next year because of the nationwide shortage [link removed]. I’m a little ashamed that I got the shot even though I don’t really qualify [link removed], but if I do get sick, my condition (Dystonia) will get worsened. Oh, well.

I have implemented a simple “blacklist” feature similiar to the one WordPress uses, so now I can easily ban, as well as manage, IPs and delete their corresponding comments automatically from the administrative pages.

It’s posted at b2 board [link removed]. :)

Update: You can find all of my b2 hacks here [link removed]. :) And some of them will be listed at b2 Cafelog Resource Center. :D

“‘Superman’ actor Christopher Reeve, who became a tireless advocate for spinal cord research after a horseback riding accident left him paralyzed nine years ago, has died of heart failure, his publicist said on Monday. He was 52.” — [[link removed]]

My deepest condolences… He really was an extraordinary man. :( At leave he still lives on in his family, his foundation, and his fans.

I have revised my contact form script a little further to implement a few more features which are:

  • Support for Asian characters (UNICODE)
  • Message priority selection
  • “Allow HTML” customization
  • Message copy request
  • Mass-mail protection
  • Smart error handling
  • Fully customizable

As always, comments of any kind are welcomed. :)

I didn’t like the movie “Hero” at all for two reasons. First, characters in these types of movies can actually defy the laws of physics (gravity for example) which is way too unrealistic even for me who likes SCI-FI films. Second, its plot is an old cliché itself, which I have seen too many times in Chinese movies. The only relatively good thing about this film is its cast.

I will rate this film a D. :(
