Our business at Westfield Shoppingtowns in Vancouver is real bad. We didn’t even get one tenth of what we got on the day after Thanksgiving of last year, and we still have pay the lease, which doubles next month, and other miscellaneous stuffs. I must get a job. :( Looks like I will have to get on it a little earlier than planned.

My mother bugged me this morning that we should try a church nearby our place, so we got there about 15 minutes late since it wasn’t planned. Anyway, the name of the search is “St. Elizabeth Ann Seton,” and my mother and I agreed that it doesn’t look like a church at all. The Bible says that Houses of Worship should be decorated with golds and such, but this place was just the opposite—not even a cross that most churches have on their walls. I highly recommend “National Treasure,” which I thought was just another film about modern day pirates hunting for treasures but actually turned out to be a very suspenseful movie that kept me on the edge of my seat with its well-written plot. And Nicolas Cage is excellent as usual.

It deserves a D. :(

I called Verizon on this past Tuesday to upgrade my DSL to 3/768 Plan, which I got the next morning. However, the downstream speed obviously didn’t get increased, but I decided to wait since the Service Ready Date was 6PM of that day. The next day, a technician came by to fix the line for statics well after 1PM — I was waiting since 8AM, because they said he would be here in between 8 to 2. Continue reading ‘DSL upgrade’ »

I thought I had turned ClearType on before, but it obviously wasn’t on up until now, because fonts are much clearer and darker now that it’s on. If you have a Windows XP and a LCD monitor, check that out. For laptops, however, it’s turned on by default.

I was browsing through my web site statistics page when I noticed an unfamiliar referrer. It turns out that I’m linked at BBC Ouch Bloglist! Whoever submitted or linked my site, thank you! :)
