I’m gonna root for Carrie Underwood all the way, ‘cuz she’s attractively fresh and her voice is just heavenly. Melinda Lira and Lindsey Cardinale are good, too, and Mikalah Gordon is simply too annoying.

Though the movie “Son of the Mask” is supposed to be a comedy, which has a lot of excellent CGs and special effects, I found it very, very boring — even dreadful. It’s just not funny at all. Don’t waste your money on this crap.

A “D” for its special effects… it’s an “F” movie otherwise. :(

It’s been quite a while since I last had a physical, and since I must be referred to Dr. Brodsky at OHSU as I have gotten a new insurance provider (Providence), I went in this morning to see my new primary doctor, Gretchen LaSalle, M.D., who was very friendly and professional, though she has a lousy assistant. Anyhow, I had my blood drawn after that. Gotta go in again to discuss the results.

And since I was out, I also went to OHSU to request a copy of my medical records, and the guy there was very rude — probably because of my complaint. Whatever. I dropped it off at OVRS on the way home. Continue reading ‘Physical, etc.’ »

I really enjoyed the movie “Constantine” which, in my opinion, has an excellent plot, not to mention that it has a lot of excellent CGs. FYI, it also has a lot of biblical references which makes it a little hard to follow if you don’t know the religion. Oh, yeah, Keanu Reeves is awesome in it as well.

I will give it an A! :)

I just saw “The Phantom of the Opera,” and wow, I think it’s as good as its theatrical version. It leans a little more to the side of being an opera than a movie however. Speaking of which, this opera was the first and last one that I went to see with a date in my sophomore year — in 1992 — if I recall correctly.

I will rate this an A! :)

Some fucker just tried to scam me by sending an e-mail pretending to be from eBay. I did a traceroute of the IP (204.100.225.253) in the e-mail which was disguised as “signin.ebay.com,” and it was sent from dellhost.com (206.46.170.121). Here are the details: Continue reading ‘Fraudulent e-mail’ »

OHSU is being real slow in sending my medical records to OVRS, delaying my potential employment. On top of that, they asked OVRS to pay for it. Their Medical Records Department doesn’t answer phone calls — only voicemail — and they don’t call back, either. They sure are fucked up. :x

Next day update: I sent a complaint to their Public Relations Office… Continue reading ‘OHSU medical records’ »

I now have 50 GMail invitations to hand out! Leave a comment if you want one. :)

Update (2/14): Check out GMail Drive Shell Extension. :)

The movie “Boogeyman” is an excellent horror thriller with a lot of “shock factors” which are well directed. However, I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t even try to provide some sort of “history” of Boogeyman. It definitely isn’t for small children, that’s for sure — they will invade your bed after seeing this.

I will rate it a B+. :)

My Free World Dialup number is 608975. I can make/receive calls using Pulver Communicator which is a four-in-one messanger like Trillian and also connects to Skype users. It even has a voicemail which is independent from your computer! :)
