I recently enrolled into Providence Health Plan (part A and B) in order for me to get a permanent Primary Care Physician, and since I’m new to Providence, I was told that my new PCP must refer me to Dr. Brodsky whom I have seen a couple of times prior to my enrollment with no problems whatsoever. However, OHSU is now refusing the referral with a reason being that Dr. Brodsky does not accept my insurance. So I e-mailed him explaining the situation.

I must see him as he’s the only one in this state who can do DBS adjustments and accepting patients. It’s a waiting game now… :|

Update (03/14): I was referred to Dr. Mark S. Yerby at St. Vincent’s Hospital who apparently accepts Dystonia patients. I’m so relieved. :)

The plot of “The Jacket” is a little hard to follow, but in the end, it’s even a little touching in a way.

I will give it a B. :)

The movie “Cursed” is definitely cursed with disappointments and is no better than a typical teen flick.

“China’s ambassador to the United Nations last week lashed out against what it called the U.S. ‘monopolization’ of the internet, and urged the UN to employ a ‘more rational and just’ governance system. The call to move Internet management away from ICANN and into UN jurisdiction has grown louder, a number of countries complaining ICANN operates with an American bias.” — [full article]
