I had a Botox injection today on my, I believe, Tibialis Anterior muscle near the knee which was quite painful because of rapid flow of the injection. And while I was there, I asked my doctor to increase the voltage of my implants to 3.6 from 3.2. Continue reading ‘Botox and settings change’ »

It wouldn’t be an overstatement if I say that “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” has rekindled my faith in God and supernatural.

I will rate it an B+. :)

I just had my blood drawn to test it for Helicobactor pylori and anemia as I’m suffering from ulcer which started from being an acid reflux disease for about 3 to 4 years.

Update: The test result came out negative. So I’m gonna take more of Ranitidine a day and see if that helps.

Google Kai. Wow, I’m almost speechless. Poor baby. He will be called a human search engine by his friends and be overwhelmed with “queries.”

“The scourge of e-mail—spam—has reinvented itself for the world of blogs, in a phenomenon experts have dubbed ’splog.’ And Google is in the hot seat.” — [[link removed]]

Sploggers bypassed my anti-splog measures, too, in the last few days. So I placed some counter-measures of course. Sploggers are worse than spammers in my opinion. :x

Check out meebo.com… it’s a web-based multiple instant messaging system. I guess it’d be useful when you’re out and away from your desktop. :)

You know one of those days wherein everything and everyone seems to go against you?

Yup, it’s one of those days for me today. First, I woke up reluctantly to the sounds my father mowing the backyard in the morning. Second, my body and I are both in a grouchy mood because of the first. Third, my wireless mouse goes on and off, driving me more grouchy. Fourth, my scanner fails to work for no apparent reason. By this time, I badly wanted to throw both of them against the wall to their demise. Fifth, something went wrong with System Restore that my speech recognition software failed to load properly for a moment, which I had to go restore my voice files.

Ah, what a day… :( I’m just glad it’s almost over. :|

Read the Top Ten Design Mistakes by Jakob Nielsen. I think #10 should have been 2 or 3. What do you think???

The movie “Serenity” isn’t that original in my opinion, but it’s not too boring, either. It’s an “eh” kind of a film. But it does have awesome special effects and fighting scenes.

I give it an B. :) Oh, and, uhh, Summer Glau is hot!

An online friend of mine, Theresa, has been hosting me for about 2 years now and continued to do so even when she didn’t have a site of her own; however, she has now decided to close down her reseller account as she doesn’t need it anymore, which I totally understand and respect. Thanks, Theresa, for your generosity… you have saved me a lot of money! :)

My new hosting provider is Netrillium with a custom plan (50MB space and 2GB bandwidth) for only $12 per year. I know they have negative reviews, but their prices and flexibility are superb, and their technical support response time is pretty good despite what others say about that. They also offer 30-day money-back guarantee, so I will have to wait and see their reliability (server uptime). Continue reading ‘New hosting provider’ »
