I just painfully realized again that the old saying, “Out of sight, out of mind,” is definitely true and that no matter how much you love someone, it doesn’t always reciprocate. Love certainly doesn’t conquer all, at least for me.

I had an appointment with my neurologist today, and I asked him to restore my settings to two years ago as I’ve been doing pretty bad since sometime last year. By doing so, I’m hoping my speech would improve even a little as it was before.
There goes 2 years of my life down the drain…
I’m looking for a wireless bluetooth headset — for a cellular phone — that can be worn over an eyeglasses, preferably with its answer/end located on the microphone boom and not behind the ear. Is there something without the button?
Why don’t they make it truly hands-free so that users can just say something like, “Jabra, answer call,” to answer incoming calls???
I brought up enough courage to make the call. While it was nice hearing her voice again in 4 years, I felt so small and insignificant at the same time. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always felt like that even in the past.
And I’m not quite sure if she was glad to hear from me. I’m so damn insecured, I know. o_O
“Two years ago, a quadriplegic man started playing video games using his brain as a controller. That may just sound like fun and games for the unfortunate, but really, it spells the beginning of a radical change in how we interact with computers – and business will never be the same.” — [full article]
I sure could use that now… not when I’m 40 something!
If the [link removed] between Israel and Lebanon continue to escalate, and if Iran and Syria get involved, I believe World War III would be imminent. That’s because US will back Israel if they get cornered, and a lot of countries don’t like US right now — China, Russia, North Korea and most Middle Eastern countries. And if US gets attacted, Canada, most of Europe, South Korea and Japan would side with US.
What do you think? :worried:
The scale of “Superman Returns” is very huge, at least with CGs which, by the way, are vastly superior than its predecessors, and it has a great twist that could lead to another series of movies. Too bad Christopher Reeves isn’t the star.
Though there’re some technical inconsistencies, it deserves an A+.
In this dream, it felt like I was back in my high school, but for some reason, the economic professor from the college I attended was teaching there. Anyway, he got very angry when he found out that my personal aide, JoAnn, brought in a TV during class, and he took his anger out on a friend of mine in a wheelchair by beating his face with a rolled-up towel for mouthing off. He was breeding pretty badly, so JoAnn took him to see the school nurse. Continue reading ‘JoAnn’ »
