Sometime in February, we are going to “merge” with Community Vision, Inc. We’ll be sharing the same building, phone, Internet and accountant. We’re hoping this will be permanent as the place is closer to most of us, and we won’t have to worry about parking.
In the transition, they’re going to convert me into a permanent employee but still paid hourly. I’d have to go in sometime next week to do the paperwork. A pay raise would be nice…

I’ve received a couple of these these e-mails which were filtered out by Thunderbird and Kaspersky. One of them had a subject line of “Chinese missile shot down Russian satellite.” Who opens that kind of e-mails??? o_O

I sprained my right wrist a couple of days ago while, I think, sleeping. Using my hand trackball makes it worse. At least I can move my fingers… I sure hope it’s not Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
I had it wrapped with something tight for now, but wrong moves still hurts like a nerve damage or something.
EDIT: Using Bengay on sprained ankle/wrist is not a good idea; in fact, it makes the pain much worse. Use an ice pack instead.

I don’t know about this…
When I was in school, I was told that I didn’t have any accent. However, my current boss tells me I do have a Korean accent as she has been there for a while in the past.
My mother now has a health insurance through Regence BlueCross BlueSheild of Oregon, and FHIAP will cover 95% of its premiums. I was always concerned about her not having a health insurance; now, she only has to pay around $20 a month!

I ordered the service on around December 28, 2006, over the phone and scheduled the installation date on January 8, 2007. Before the installation date, the contractors came twice to mark where the fiber was to be buried and then to actually run it to my house from the street, where they finished laying the fibers about 2-3 months ago. I’m selling my Westell Versalink 327W DSL Modem/Router on eBay since I got Verizon FiOS just yesterday morning.
The installer came at about 8:30 and was done by 11:30 with no problems. I was a little concerned, though, as I read some horror stories about FiOS installations on DSLReports.
