I just purchased a Linksys WRT54GL with a 1GB SD/MMC Card flashed with DD-WRT firmware for $109.98. Kind of expensive, but it’s priced $134.99 plus $12.99 shipping at Tekunix Corp. who in my opinion is a bunch of crooks overpriced. I mean, the router sells for 1/3 of their price tag on Amazon plus free shipping.
Anyway, I’ll be using it mostly for VPN in front of my ZyXEL X-550… and with all that space, maybe I’ll even host this site on it someday.
The movie “300” has awesome computer graphics, which by the way makes it a little too “comical,” and its plot is even grandeur at moments. However, its portrayal of Persians as hedonistic and monstrous creatures is quite distasteful. Nevertheless, as a fantasy, it is an excellent film.
I rated it a B+.

It does, however, receive read/write data from the server. Here’s my server config: Continue reading ‘OpenVPN driving me insane’ »
I had get up at 6 this morning to attend a public hearing held in State Capitol Building way down in Salem — 48 miles of driving to be exact. It was related to work, so I had to go. Continue reading ‘Public Hearing’ »
My appointment with Dr. Brodsky at OHSU was re-scheduled to July 10 simply because the new referral was late. My primary care physician left to another state last month, and the referral had to be renewed by my new PCP. Continue reading ‘Delayed referral’ »
The Daylight Saving Time started this morning at 2 here in United States (except Arizona and Hawaii) and in Canada, folks. I don’t know about you, but everything seems to be okay for me… yet. We’ll see on the April 1st. If you use Windows, get the patch here.
If you’ve linked to me using www.michaelpark.org, please change it to michaelpark.org as soon as you can. I need a higher Google Page Ranking for this blog so that I can get more money from PayPerPost.com. Thanks!
