Finally a “Halloween” film that explains very well Michael Myers’ childhood and his true identity. Although this is a remake, I think it’s good enough to stand on its own. Besides, I don’t believe the original showed that much of his childhood — if at all. Director Zombie did an excellent job keeping the same atmosphere.

I rated this an A! :)

I just received an invitation to GrandCentral, so I signed up with a local number! It’s a call forwarding service that rings ALL your numbers — home, cell, office, etc. — using one central number provided by Google for free. So if you want a want an invitation, leave me a comment here or a voicemail. Unfortunately, it’s for US only for now.

You know what happens when you open a can of soda after shaking it, right??? Due to its pressure build-up, it forms bubbles which eventually overflows. Perhaps you’ve been a victim of your friends’ pranks. Well, there’s a simple solution… Simply strike/tap the top of the can for 5 to 6 times with a solid object, such as a spoon, while holding it down still on a surface! Can’t believe it? Try it! :)

I saw this in a Korean show called Sponge.

“By deliberately scrambling a person’s visual and tactile senses, it is now possible to give them an ‘out-of-body’ experience.” — [full article]

This is an interesting study. I’ve a question, though. In so-called real out-of-body experiences, there are no cameras or things like that… so how do you explain some people being to give so much detail on what happened while they were under???

I finally got to see “The Burne Ultimatum,” and like its predecessors, it’s filled with action and suspense. I was completely drawn into it throughout the entire movie! There’s a fighting scene at around 60 minutes into it that you won’t want to miss! Plus, Julia Stiles is even cuter than before… :D

This one deserves an A! :)

You know when you hear a song, and it just perfectly fit how you’re feeling so much that you put it on repeat for hours? Well, I found this song while watching Bleach, and it just stuck in my head. And Rei Fu is kind of cute… :D Continue reading ‘Life is Like a Boat by Rei Fu’ »

This past Sunday, my mother and I went to IKEA for the very first time to buy a new bed for myself because of my back pain. We were lost for a while, because the one in Oregon isn’t on the GPS map (iGuidance) — not even on Google Map. After an hour or so, we finally managed to find the place, which took us another 30+ minutes to get there, but the place was completely packed with people as if we were facing an Armageddon or something… people were literally pushing to get though, and I was so worried that I might hurt someone with my wheelchair since I’d barely move. Anyhow, we found the bed, but it was all self-serve from locating the item to loading it. It’s not like I can load it myself… too heavy for my mother of course. So we said forget it.

In any case, that place was too chaotic for us.

I’ve not been blogging much lately simply because there’s absolutely nothing to blog about — no excitement or anything noteworthy. I guess no news is good news, eh!? Oh, I’ve been watching anime practically all day long after work, and I’ve started on Blood+. I like supernatural stuffs.

If you’re into anime (Japanese cartoon), check AnimeCrazy.Net out! I’ve been watching Naruto for the last couple of weeks… can’t believe I finished 220 episodes of it plus its 3 movies and 23 newer episodes (Shippuden) in 2 weeks. Besides Naruto, they’ve almost all the popular ones including Sharman King, Bleach and One Piece. They’re using Veoh for video streaming by the way. Now I’m watching Claymore.

Just thought I’d share. :)
