The plot of “Resident Evil: Extinction” is nothing new: an evil scientist gone wrong by his own ambition. And this “episode” has considerably less action and blood than its predecessors. Nevertheless, it stays true to its core storyline which most of its fans would appreciate. Its ending is most intriguing, and you can expect a new one in a couple of years for sure.

I was referred to AGLOCO™, which stands for “a global community,” by one of my maternal uncles. So I did some searching on the ‘Net, and that company seems quite legitimate. Basically, you install their ViewBar™ that display various ads with no popups of any kind, and you don’t even have to click anything. You get paid for simply viewing content-targeted ads for 5 hours a month and for referring others whose hours also get credited to you. You get credits from 5-level referrals. It’s like a pyramid scheme, except that this one isn’t a scam. See this analysis.

EDIT: This made me think twice. No wonder they didn’t ask for any payment info. Oops!

The Internet Tax Moratorium expires on November 1! If it expires, your state will be free to tax your Internet connection. I’m sure you don’t want that… I sure don’t. I mean, it’s already expensive as it is compared to Japan and S. Korea. So, contact your state representatives now!

I haven’t had a dream that I’d remember this long for a while now. Anyway, this is the weirdest dream I’ve ever had… o_O Continue reading ‘Exorcism???’ »

Well, kind of. The problem seems to be caused by their SIP settings. It doesn’t seem to relay my RTP port settings/mappings sent by my SPA-3000 properly for some reason. So, I’m using Voxalot.com to place calls via VoIPBuster, and now every call goes through. Yay! :)

I’ve got my hands on a DVD Screener for “Wrong Turn 2” which I think is a direct-to-video film. That’s a good decision as this movie is a trash in my opinion. Low-budget films are easily recognizable, and this is definitely one of them. It’s got nothing but blood and body parts.

I had another appointment with my neurologist today to change settings of my implants. Pulse width was lowered to 180 from 210 on both sides as my speech and ankles have been bothering me quite a bit. Also, I’ll try out a medication called Tizanidine for spasms and muscle tightness. Hope it’s better than Valium. Further, I’m gonna see a “mood” specialist who treat patients with movement disorders in 2 weeks to try changing my anti-depressant (Mirtazapine) which doesn’t seem to work too well anymore. I’m now with CallWithUs.com which is a PAYG VoIP provider. I’m leaving BroadVoice as they’ve added USF of $2.50; in total, their taxes add up to $5.47. That’s about 5 hours of calling within US with CallWithUs!

War

If you’re a big fan of Jet Li, you’ll probably like the movie “War.” But if you’re not, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s just plain boring — nothing stands out. No originality, no spectacular fighting choreography, nothing, unlike other Jet Li films.

While its plot isn’t so original, “The Invasion” is pretty good with some thriller effects. For a movie that’s about alien invasion, however, it doesn’t show much of aliens and/or their technologies. This film is very similar to the TV series that got got canceled after only one season. And I don’t particularly like Nicole Kidman.
