Do you know of a software for Windows that can capture the desktop and convert it to video, such as AVI, WMV or even Flash? Preferably a freeware? I need to create a video capturing certain websites, that’s why.

EDIT: I found HyperCam2.

If you serve RSS feeds from your blog running WordPress, you need to install a plugin called WP RSS Sticky. It allows you to insert whatever messages to your RSS feeds, such as a copyright message. This won’t stop spammers from stealing your contents using automated scripts, but at least you have the legal leverage this way.

EDIT: I switched to FeedEntryHeader which insert the actual permalink of each post.

…in a dream, of course, to a famous Korean actress named Shi-ra Chae. :D We were going to this 5-star hotel for our honeymoon, and at least 10 assistants were following us up the escalator each holding up the contents of our luggages — mostly her dresses — for the media. When I asked her about it, she said another limousine was coming! I got angry for some reason, and I stormed into one of the 2 ballrooms we rented… and it was full of her staffs. 8-)

Obviously, this dream is about my privacy. Hmm… :?

I have this laptop for work which was purchased by OVRS for me sometime last year when I started working at my current job. It was great in the beginning with great speed and so on, not to mention it’s Vista certified. But now, it’s USB ports are pretty unstable with power. It keeps reconnecting and Windows complains about it. Since I use an external USB trackball, this gets very annoying and unnerving because without it, I can’t use my laptop at all. Also, the life of its battery seems to have shortened. It used to last more than five hours, but now it only lasts around three or four hours.

I might have to replace the laptop instead of replacing the desktop which is like six years old now. :( Oh, by the way, this laptop doesn’t even have a DVD Burner… not to sound ungrateful or anything, but they could have gotten me a little better one than this. Its CPU is only about 1.6GHz for crying out loud. :x

A friend of mine in California let me know of an Internet radio site called pandora.com which is quite unique in my opinion. You can define what you wanna listen to by typing the name of artists or songs, and you can create up to 100 of these stations for free. The catch here, I think, is that they are hoping you will buy the actual CDs after you listen to the songs from their site. Whatever the catch is, it works and it’s free… :)

I gotta reply her e-mail and thank her now. :D

My foot pain has mysteriously has disappeared from this morning.  Since a couple of days ago, the affected area started to narrow and the pain was getting kind of numb.  I thought it was getting worse, because it was getting focalized to a certain small spot.  Fortunately, I was wrong.  I think it was a pinched nerve in the foot itself or my lower back where I still have moderate-to-severe pain when I wake up in the morning.  In any case, I’m glad that I didn’t have to go in for a x-ray, because I’d have had to involve my neurologist to monitor my implants.

I think it would be pretty interesting to participate in the “Let Spam in for a Day” and see how many of them I get on this “new” blog.  So far, Akismet has only caught about 25 spam comments since this blog is relatively new which would change by the mid-December.

By the way, what’s up with spammers stealing contents of blogs?  Most of the SPAMs I get are near-duplicates of my posts with links to mine at the end.  If they are stealing my contents, why link back to mine?  Weird… :?

I don’t know if it’s the cold or the fact that I haven’t driven my wheelchair for over 2 weeks, but I just couldn’t get up this morning. I usually get up exactly at 8, but I got up at 9 today even though I knew my mother has to go work after 10. I think my cold has changed to body aches, because I couldn’t move an inch in bed half awake. I’m not feeling too good even now… I think I have a stomach problem now, too, on top of body aches.

I didn’t get sick last year, though. Damn.

“The Korea Institute of Science and Technology said Monday that it has developed an optical fiber made of plastic that can increase home Internet speed by 25 times, theoretically.” — [full article]

2.5Gbps for residential connection… dang! If I wasn’t so medically-challenged, I’d have moved back to Korea right after I graduated. With my degree and English, getting a job would have been no problem. *sigh*

Yes, I’ve had a weirdest dream ever this morning.  I don’t recall all the details, but I’m certain that it was some kind of a hellish version of Willy Wonka & Candy Factory.  I distinctly remember falling into that green slimy pool of supposed chocolate and ending up in a place like a doll factory where live people were getting into sewing machines — kind of like a pig slaughtering place.

Very weird indeed… :?
