My current desk chair is about 15 years old with no cushion support anymore wherein I spend most of the day. Since there’s no cushion anymore, it gets quite uncomfortable after a while, and I’d often get sores/pain from sitting for too long. So my mother got me a new leather chair with sufficient cushion support for $149 with a $40 discount. We’ve been waiting for it to go on sale at FredMeyers. :D

I’ve got to attend a staff meeting tomorrow and on Thursday for about two hours each.  Since I couldn’t attend one on the 15th, I can’t afford to miss another if I don’t want to give bad impressions, I guess.  I hope I can make it in this condition, though my left leg seems a little better than last week.

I think I’ll spread the love at the meeting… heh! :D

I’ve installed a ShareThis Social Bookmarks plugin as you can see below each post. So if you are a subscriber to any of them, please spread the linky love! It will help me to increase my Page Rank by drawing in more traffic to this site. Thanks! :)

I’ve been suffering from a common cold since a few days ago, and I’m feeling miserable even now.  It started with a sore throat, which I got from my mother, and then I developed a slight fever and a runny nose.  I hope I don’t get a sinus infection or something.

Even with a common cold, Dystonia reacts very badly.  On top of the cold symptoms, I get very sensitive and my body tenses up easily.  Also, my depression gets worse when I’m sick in any way, which I think is true for everyone.

Care to take my cold???  Heh… :P

I’ve gone through practically the same thing as described in this article except that I had two separate operations in three months.  I also wasn’t as young as Alex, and it’s been four years since my operations.  I always thought that the age was a major factor, but after reading this article, I’m not so sure anymore.  Perhaps I belong to that “one fifth” group. :x

In any case, I wish the best for Alex… :)

Skelaxin has worn off about 95% now.  When I first started taking it, it was great for a couple of days.  I immediately noticed that most of my abnormal spasms were gone, and I could drink water out of a cup without spasming.  After a few days, however, my body became rigid and very sensitive — especially the left side of my body.  So I contacted my neurologist on what I should do, and he told me to take it with Valium.  And it was great for the next couple of months thereafter.

However, since about one month ago,  I started having problems with my left leg and foot: my knee would curl up and stay tense when getting dressed, and my foot would turn inward when walking. All of my senses, including my own thoughts, became very sensitive; i.e., I’d get startled by the sound of a pin dropping, and even my own thought made me tense up.  In another word, I was a nervous wreck. My walking has been terrible because of those symptoms

Now that it’s almost worn off, I got a freaking cold!  :x

After 7 years of using a PC and the Internet, you’d think that person must have at least grasped the concept of computing… right?

Well, that doesn’t seem to apply to the ol’ man.  A few posts ago, I mentioned that he reunited with his high school friends through the Korean site.  Now he wants to send/receive e-mails and post on bulletin boards with pictures.  How can you do such things when you can’t even distinguish between the two?  He doesn’t even know how the cursor works and what it’s for.  What’s more “shocking” is that he was surprised to find out that he could open multiple windows at the same time! :roll:

To teach such a person how to use even a simple editor is a nightmare! :x

If you like Asian films, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean and so on, check Asian Cinema Forums out. Asian film enthusiasts post links to eMule/eDonkey when new films are released. This site is really good, because such releases are available as soon as their DVDs come out in their respective countries. This might be bad for their business, but for people living in foreign lands who don’t have access to their local theaters, these kinds of sites enable us to reconnect to our roots. :P

Now I’m not promoting piracy here, and as far as I know, it’s not yet illegal to download foreign films.

Yes, now I’m accepting link exchange requests under the following conditions:

  1. You have to have your own domain;
  2. It must have a personal blog;
  3. You must turn “nofollow” off site-wide;
  4. Your site must be at least 3 months old;
  5. And it must not have any pornographic materials.

To contact me, please either leave a comment here or use this form. Thanks! :)

… is “Know Thyself.”

I don’t know if I wrote about this before, but I personally believe that one has to be able to look back on one’s life from time to time and be regretful and/or apologetic if he or she has wronged someone — even if that someone is your spouse or your child/children. I’m bringing this up, because the ol’ man is completely the opposite; that is, he thinks that he has lead a perfect life and that his family didn’t suffer in any way all thanks to him. The truth is, however, it’s totally opposite, and we are suffering because of his negligence and lifestyle.
