Vishing, or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phising, scams are on the rise since 2006 according to Security Pro News.  Some VoIP providers allow their users to input anything as Caller ID, so scammers can even use “White House” as their CIDs.

Make sure not to give out ANY personal information over the phone unless you called them first.

Yesterday, that friend of our family took my mother to Victoria’s Secret in a nearby mall for her belated birthday present, and I tagged along not knowing where we’re going. I’ve no problem entering stores like this, mind you… as long as there’s a woman with me. I high-tailed out of there when they went into dressing rooms, because others were looking at me like I’m a pervert. :lol: Imagine a guy browsing through women’s underwear by himself! Heh. :D

Our current director is retiring next week after working 30+ years in the disability community. So we’re getting a new director who’s also working in the same field and has a son with autism (I think). Well, anyway, I’m hoping we’ll become more active.

As I’ve written in my “about” page, I had an infatuation on a Vietnamese girl who was more like a sister I’ve never had now that I think about it. As I always say, this world is both Heaven and Hell.  I’d say it’s more like Hell these days.

Now there’s one more reason for me to wait on replacing this old desktop. Intel is developing USB 3.0 which they say is 10 times faster than 2.0. Everything will be based on USB and Flash, such as Solid State Hard Disks, in a few years in my opinion.

According to this article, a 80-year-old Indian woman has spent $37,500 for a two-day feast that offered free food to anyone who attended. Why? To reserve her place in Heaven.

It’d have been more noble of her if she declined to comment, don’t ya think?
