I don't know how you can draw a distinct line between the two. In one episode/book he sleeps with a woman before shooting her in the head. He knew she was an agent but just wanted the spoils of war for himself. That's pretty cold, if you ask me:) But I had hoped that they would continue the "beginning of" that we saw in Casino, to underline _how he got to be_ a coldblooded killer. It's this development of character that makes Bond interesting. That and the fancy enemies, whom we haven't seen for a while. Well, it depends. I wholeheartedly agree with that. Having seen the Casino-movie one (1) year ago, I couldn't remember all the references in this shameless sequel. Will it ever be aired as a Sunday matiné, a single feature? No. Because it's Casino Royale Part II. That said, have you read Bond books? I can't stress this enough; he's a clinical example of a psychopath. In Casino his personal problems begins, and as we saw in this flick, it develops from being about her/love to revolve around him. That's why he's a double-oh agent. He doesn't have a conscience unless it suits his vanity. Whether prior movies have tried to take this into account is another question.. :D I give it the same.
