A lot has happened since the last time I blogged here, though I’m still unemployed. I’ve read that there are over a million unemployed people in the U.S., so I figured I wouldn’t be able to complete. I’m not even looking for one right now, but I’m planning to start next year with some help from vocational rehabilitation as soon as the economy improves a title and unemployment goes down which is above 10% now.
Anyway, my 5th maternal aunt (youngest) has finally immigrated to the U.S. from Korea. One of my older cousins in Canada took the chance to invite his mother (my 2nd aunt) and my family to his new place. I believe I’ve written about my recent visits to Canada and Yellowstone which wouldn’t have been possible without my GPS. Since then, my 5th aunt purchased a car, got a job at a Korean market and moved out of our place. Because of that, I’ve been quite busy with searching, researching, purchasing, interpreting, consulting, etc. I’ve spent days searching for a car that’s under her budget and setting up the VoIP equipment she brought behind my own network.
These days, I’m also her English tutor. She attends a free ESL program offered by a community college twice a week, but she came too late–if you know what I mean. And it’s harder to teach an adult than a kid because of their ability to retain what they learn. It doesn’t help that she’s not into learning, either. Oh, well.
By the way, I don’t expect to blog that regularly like before… so if you still check in sometimes, you have my gratitude.
In case I don’t write again this year, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
